Maximo maintenance management LKAB Narvik

The rail traffic on the 50 mil long Iron Ore line is under LKAB's own direction, through its subsidiary LKAB Malmtrafik, and the Norwegian subsidiary LKAB Malmtrafikk. LKAB Malmtrafikk AS owns and operates the operation depot in Narvik.

LKAB Malmtrafikk AS needed a tool to ensure control of the infrastructure, both in relation to the condition and that maintenance was adapted to the operation.

Rytec has been responsible for implementing Maximo, in addition to design, registration and training of LKAB's personnel.
